Shiva Shakti gives silent satsang twice daily at her ashram in Ramana Nagar to mostly Western visitors. She is currently living at Arunachala and is available for satsang throughout the year.
Although she is freely available, I only went to her satsang the one time. For me it was not enjoyable -a bit boring and I feel asleep. Not because I was tired but the energy was very heavy.
However, I have to admit she is VERY popular with Western visitors - who come back repeatedly to her. So there must be some kind of satisfaction.
My theory is alot of her popularity is to with her being silent! Lots of space to project there!
I will do follow up entries on her and give detailed information.
Projection is a BIG part of the religious experience, as we talked about before! So, each person will pick out the guru that one is drawn to/ is best for them/ or rather, they will be drawn together and 'click,' meaning, have the situation that is best for spiritual growth. Progress is the most important thing!
What about a short bit about her life and teachings, and your experiences with her (if any)?
