Thank you for the wonderful coverage and photographs of 2016 Deepam. Has it finished now? Is the deepam still alight?
ReplyDeleteHave been told that the Deepam will be alight for 11 days . . . so that means last night is meant to be the eleventh night. Will have to wait and see tonight if there is a flame on the Hill.
ReplyDeleteYes, it was indeed 11 days that the Deepam was alight on Arunachala. Except for the first 3 days, with the murky, cloudy wet weather, the Deepam was nicely visible for a good distance.
