Below are two very nice photographs of the recently celebrated Pradosham at Arunachaleswarar Temple on Sunday, September 21, 2014.

Meenakshi, very nice coverage. You wrote earlier that Pradosham is a powerful time when if you pray to Arunachala, he will burn off all your karmas and change your destiny. You said, if you can't visit a real Shiva temple at Pradosham time, then just light a lamp at home and it will do the same thing. I can't find those posts now but I love all the complex and simple remedies you suggest. There is something for every devotee of Arunachala. :-)
Anyway, keep safe and off the roads. Just saw the news about JJ and the possible riots after the verdict.
I have made lots of posting on the bi-monthly pradosham, because its a very significant time here at Arunachala.
I had a look at some of the postings to see if I could find the one about lighting a deepam at home, but can't track it down.
Many people do observe fasting and certain rituals in their own homes during the bi-monthly pradoshams.
Keeping my fingers crossed for our Chief Minister. In every country the Overlords (i.e. politicians) are naughty, but she definitely wasn't as bad as most of them.
More importantly (from my point of view) JL loves animals and contributed to the improved quality of life for our Tamil Nadu Temple elephants. Oh! dear.
I am pretty sure you posted it about two years ago. The remedy helped us here in the West because the Shiva temples are all in the suburbs and we had to cross several highways during afternoon rush hour to get to the temple for Pradosham. Now we just head home, bathe and light a lamp. :-)
