This year, a new addition to Day Four's Chandrasekarar Naga Vahanam procession is the representation of Lord Ganesha in a reclining manifestation.
The reclining posture of Ganesha signifies luxury, comfort, wealth and prosperity. When Lord Ganesha is shown in this form it embues Him with a particularly Royal look. He is inclined on a throne with a pillow to support one of His arms for extra comfort.
