Groundbreaking and Bhumi Puja for Temple Construction took place at the end of April 2021 for the new Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple that is being constructed at the foot of Arunachala.
The new Temple will be located on the right side of Girivalam Roadway near the junction with Kanji Road.

I think they are going to obstruct hill view.
Bit by bit both sides of Arunachala girivalam roadway is getting built up. No way to prevent this after law cases against building around the Hill failed a number of years ago. That litigation prevented construction around Arunachala for a number of years ... but after the case was resolved, construction is going at a fast rate. But its better that Temples and Shrines are being built than shops and restaurants.
