At the time of the bi-monthly Pradosham observed at Arunachaleswarar Temple, abhishekam and aarti are performed on the Five Temple Nandis.
The Five Temple Nandis from east to west are:
Periya Nandi in front of Vallala Gopuram Fifth Prakaram.
Chinna Nandi fourth prakaram
Kodi Kampathu Nandi, Third Prakaram
Ratha Vilaku Nandi, Second Prakaram
Pradosha Nandi, Moolastanam
